Blake's Procedure

For those of you who have not heard Blake will be having tubes put in his ears this Friday 01/25/08. Blake in the last year has experienced way to many infections and it has really taken a toll on his sleeping and overall behavior. The tubes will remain in his ears for about 13 to 18 months and then push themselves out. Pleas keep him in your prayers and we will keep you updated.

Gracie came out like a trooper. But I'll tell you the worst part is when they come out into recovery. She nurses told me it was like she was high or drunk--thanks nurses for the consolement! It was really hard for the first couple of hours. Have you had him adjusted by a chiro? Lance had a peds chiro come and give a presentation and they showed some AWESOME results of kids with ear infections and all they needed was a simple adjustment and putting them back into alignment gave the room the body needed to drain the fluid. I'm sure Lance could explain it in the medical terms but I think the stastic was the medicines only work for 5% and most just need an adjustment. Just call us and we could probably explain better. But, Gracie's tubes have helped the sleeping A TON!!! --well you know until the whole teething thing became a problem. But seriously--much better! What specialist are you going to? We'll pray for you!
