Am I Going To Be Like Violet From Willy Wonka?

I had a doctor's appointment yesterday. It didn't go as well as I had hoped. You see, throughout this pregnancy my belly has been measuring about 2 centimeters bigger than it should. Not a big deal, 2 centimeters isn't that much. Yesterday however, the doctor measures me and says "well you are still larger than normal." I say, "well how big?" He says, "you are 25 weeks and 2 days and you are measuring at 29 weeks."
What the!?!?!?!?!?! I am 4 WEEKS bigger than I should be!
He then proceeds to ask me a bunch of questions which starts to worry me.
Were you bigger than normal with your other two pregnancies? No I measured exactly on with both.
Have you been gaining too much weight? No I am right on track.
Questions questions questions!
Then he tells me, well we would normally see you back in 3-4 weeks to do an ultrasound, but I want to see you back in 2 weeks so we can make sure everything is ok.
What the heck am I supposed to think of that?!
He didn't seem too worried, and didn't even tell me I needed to stop exercising or anything, so now I am just confused.
I have a bigger belly than I should, does that mean I am going to be like Violet from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and by the time I am ready to deliver my husband is going to have to roll me in to the delivery room? I have that image burned into my brain.
So here I am in my jumbo (apparently) belly at 25 weeks and 3 days. It's kind of embarrassing having my belly out for the whole world to see. Oh well....

In other news, the boys and I made a life size robot out of mega blocks. For some reason they have really gotten back into the blocks. Its been cars cars cars for so long, that I welcomed the change!

Boys posing with their robot, and Kade making the famous myspace/facebook face. Poochy lips.

On a Lazy Sunday Evening....

Now that we FINALLY don't have 2 o'clock church anymore, we can enjoy lazy afternoons together as a family (we had 2 o'clock church for almost 4 years!). I love coming home from church and just relaxing with the family. So yesterday we got out the Mega Blocks, and started making "rockets" and "blasting" them off around the room (sorry kids destroyed them before we could even get a picture of them, darn boys!) Then Daddy decided to pull out all our coins and make a pyramid. He said when he was little him and his brother used to make really cool pictures out of pennies. Neither on of us is an artist so we had to settle for just a boring pyramid. The boys loved it though, they thought it was the coolest thing ever to "play" with money. So here is a picture of our little penny pyramid, my belly poking out, and my naked boys. I swear it is a full time job to keep clothes on my children. Is it a boy thing, or are my kids just weird???

Okay so obviously these pictures are not from Sunday but a few days before. After getting home from our run the other day, we were all sweaty so I pulled out the sprinkler and we all cooled off, and by all I really mean all of us because the second the water came on both kids grabbed the sprinkler and chased me with it completely soaking me and making the dog run like 90 miles an hour to get away from them.
Blake is getting so big, I can't believe in one short year I will be sending him to kindergarten. That will be a sad day for me. I want him to grow up and learn, but I also want him to stay little and snuggle in my lap.. Oh the sorrows of your kids growing......
And last but certainly not least....I am so excited to show ya'll part of the bedding for Kylee's room. So since I decided on different colors for her room, I could not find any bedding that matched what I wanted. So my wonderful, beautiful and most talented mother said that if I wanted she could make me her bedding. So off we went to the fabric store and I picked out all the fabrics that I wanted and told her how I wanted it to look. And she did it! And I am so in love with it. My mom and dad went out of town this weekend for their 34th wedding anniversary (go them, they are amazing!) and she made it while they were gone. We had them over for dinner yesterday and she brought it to show me. I about died I was so happy with it. My mom is so awesome, and I am so thankful for all that she does for our family. So here it is......

Thanks Mommy I love you!! You are the best!

Getting Started

First and foremost, I had to post a picture of my super cute boys (and yes I mean Adam too!). Aren't they just the most adorable?! I heart them.
Some of you may know that I don't like to wait until the last minute for things. I am not a procrastinator because it just makes me stress out. So as soon as we found out we are having a girl, I wanted to get to work before I get too big and can't do anything. So here are a few pictures of where we are at right now.
I decided on Black, white and hot pink. Not sure why I did except that I wanted her room to be different from nurseries I have seen. Yes the hot pink is bright, I know, it took some convincing for Adam to be on board (in the end he said I could do whatever I want....he he he).
So here is a shelf we had that I sanded down and painted black, and then some hot pink flowers that will go on the shelf (once its hung of course).
This is a trial and error point. We know we want the letters with ribbon. I am not sure if I want the ribbons how they are shown in the picture or if I want to hang the letters on the wall from ribbon. I don't know, I welcome ideas from you crafty people out there.

And here are the walls. The bottom will be hot pink and the top will be white. We haven't decided if we are going to put a black chair rail between the 2 colors or if we will paint a horizontal black stripe around the room. I originally started painting the black stripe but then Adam said we should do a chair rail and painted over the black stripe. Now we can't decide. Anywoo, we have lots still to do and we are still finishing up the boys room as well. Hopefully both rooms will be done before the baby comes.
A special thanks to my wonderful hubby who handles my OCD's so graciously even when it means getting everything ready for our baby 4 and a half months before we even get to see her. Love you babe.
